Challenge Activity

The Challenge Activity asks you to use organizational techniques to show how the Hawaiian Islands are growing. This is a difficult task due to the orientation of the islands and the direction of island development (the islands are moving toward Japan). Be sure to include the volcanic activity, plate shifts, labels and other visual and verbal techniques to help the learner. One solution is shown here, but it is flawed in a number of ways. Try to improve it.
